Sandy Zhao :”After graduating from University with a Bachelor degree in Accounting, I joined the Professional Year Program held by Accountants Resource Centre (ARC). The program was composed of 32 weeks of classroom-based learning and 12 weeks of Internship.

The content covered in the classroom learning was very helpful, including job interview skills, how to handle conflicts with others at work and performance appraisal techniques. The lectures were well-organised, and the lecturer was patient and willing to help. At the end of the classroom learning period, the lecturer kindly helped every student to revise and polish their cover letter and resume.

ARC offered me an internship placement at Accentuate Accounting Services (AAS) immediately after I completed classroom-based learning. At AAS, I learned a wealth of knowledge and skills in Bookkeeping using MYOB and Individual tax returns using Handitax. These contents were not covered in my university curriculum, and I am now more confident about future job seeking.

Overall, I really had a great time at ARC and I would say that ARC is the right place for all students who want to further enhance their skills and pursue a career in professional accounting!“

Sandy Zhao:”大学毕业之后，我参加了由ARC举办的会计职业年项目。这个项目是由32周的课堂教学和12周的实习组成的。课堂教学的内容十分丰富，包括求职技巧、如何处理职场上的矛盾以及如何进行工作的业绩评估等等。所有的课堂内容及讲义都安排得非常好，授课老师十分耐心并且愿意帮助解答每一个同学的疑问。在临近课堂教学结束的时候，老师还会认真地帮助我们修改求职简历。

在我完成课堂学习之后，ARC及时帮我找到了实习机构。我的实习公司是一家会计师事务所，在这里我学到了很多关于如何运用MYOB软件进行日常会计簿记工作和如何使用HandiTax软件进行个人报税的知识和技巧。这些都是在大学里学不到的，我觉得这些能力对我未来的工作会很有帮助并且为我毕业后找工作也增加了筹码和信心。

总的来说，我在ARC度过了非常开心的时光。我认为，对于那些想提高自己的工作能力，或者想以后做会计相关工作的同学来说，来ARC就对了！“
